Lyly Ford is 25, from France and in her words 'a crazy LOST fan' who gets up in the middle of the night so she can watch LOST at the same time as her friends across the Pond. Her LOST blog (http://lylyford.blogspot.com) is packed full of news, videos and exclusive pics and you can follow Lyly on Twitter here.
Q: How long have you been watching Lost?
A: I started watching LOST in 2004 in France. I didn’t watch the pilot; I started with the middle of The Moth. When I first saw the preview of LOST in TF1 it was the Season 1 poster and it seemed to me like another reality show with people in a jungle, so I continued to watch Smallville. Even when my friend told me it was a new series, Dominic Monaghan was in it, it was a JJ Abrams show and she told me about the first episode I was like, nah - this show seems to suck! But then after the season finale of Smallville I was bored and I thought, what can I watch? I changed the channel and Sawyer, The Moth and I hooked up. I watched the pilot and the 6 episodes I'd missed at the beginning of Season 1. I was amazed at the pilot. The first part is great but my favourite is the second - I loved the revelation about Rousseau and Charlie's line, 'Guys, where are we?'
Q: How did Lost get its polar bear claws into you? What about it got you hooked?
A: Sawyer and Locke! Seriously it’s them who made me watch week after week, one for a emotional level, the other for the mystery on the island.
Q: Favorite character?
A: I can’t say there is one, maybe two or three who I can say the show, for me, wouldn't be the same without them. Sawyer and Locke are my two favorites and Kate is just behind them. I can’t see the show without them. Locke is the most important character on this show; he made me fall in love with LOST, the island, the mystery. Sawyer is the character who touched me with his storyline; as I told you I started the show at The Moth so it was just after Confidence Man and well, his story touched me a lot. He made me love LOST very fast. And on the other side, Kate was a beautiful, strong intriguing woman, strong. She was the lead and I cared a lot about her and her storyline too.
Q: Least favorite character?
A: Hmm. Not easy. I haven't really got a least favorite character; every characters bring something to this show. This past season I could hate Keamy for what he did to Alex, but I don't really have a least favourite. They're all interesting and although I'm more fascinated by some than others they all bring something to the show.
Q: Favorite episode or season?
A: Season3 definitively. They introduced the Others and Juliet was one of my favourites. I also loved Desmond's and Ben's storylines and learning about how Locke got paralyzed. It was a really amazing season for me and my favourite episode - it's not easy because I've a lot to love but this one touched me in an emotional way more than the others - is The Brig. I started with Confidence Man and so that episode gave me everything I had waited 3 years for and since my two favourites were together too and shared a connection, this episode stays the best for me.
Q: Least favorite episode or season?
A: The season I call the Oceanic 6. Yes it was interesting to see the flash forwards but it focused too much on them and then the strike happened and some episodes weren't done very well. As for the episode SOS is one of my least favourites. I know many people don't like Exposé but I love it and SOS as an episode wasn't necessary except for a few scenes like when we saw Rose knew Locke's secret or Michael's return but still, this episode bored me.
Q: Are you Team Jack or Team Locke?
A: For me, there is no Team Jack. Who can say Team Jack when Locke is here?! I could be his Boone if he asked me to.

Q: If you had to be one of the following, which would it be and why: an 815 survivor, an Other or a member of the Dharma Initiative?
A: Not the Dharma Initiative even thought the Dharma jumpsuit suits me, don’t you think ? ;) Maybe an Other. I could be close to Richard, get the secret of never aging and have tea with Smokey and go fishing with Jacob. But on the other hand I could be a survivor and spend time with Locke, Sawyer, Kate and Desmond so that's a good option too.
Q: Which character’s demise were you most upset to see happening?
A: Locke - the real one, I mean. The fact that Ben killed him, it killed me too and then I saw him alive and I was blind and happy so it was a real shock to learn Locke is really dead...BUT I’ve feeling Locke isn’t dead forever, his spirit will always stay on the island.
Q: Tell us a bit about your blog.
A: I made one to start posting comments on DarkUFO's blog and you could say that's where it started. Now that I've been posted for a few years I've had the chance to make a lot of good friends who help me too. Kate Ford takes care of the spoilers since I'm mostly spoiler free for Season 6, Helena and Susan work on my blog when I'm sleeping or I'm not there, Docarzt helps me sometimes when I've an issue and Sawyer840 too. I've a little team and for me it's enough. I don't post theories on my blog though. I'm not into it. I follow the show, I enjoy it and I've got some theories but I don't post them. I post articles, videos and - my favourite - rate promo pics from the show. It's a way to share something with all LOST fans and I can tell you, I've a lot to add and I'm sure people will be happy to see it in the next few months even after LOST ends.
Q: What are your favorite online Lost communities, blogs, podcasts, etc.?
A: My favorite blog is MINE! lol! More seriously though I spend a lot of time on Outlaws forum since many friends are there but also on Lost Forum, Lost Media and Docarzt blog since I work for both of them. Lost Media is the website everyone should go to get screencaps of the episodes and exclusive photos of events. We work really hard to keep it working - I've been co-admin for two years now and I'm proud to help Gertie and it's the same for Docarzt. Doc can share some excusive stuff from LOST and he has good reviewers too like Nikki Stafford and Marc Oromaner. I love EW.com, even if Doc Jensen’s theories can be...SPECIAL, he’s very nice guy and I like Totally LOST video. I also like Eonline, TVGuide.com and Skyone.com. I also love SL-LOST's blog, he does an amazing job.
Q: Tell us something interesting/scary/amusing/downright weird about how your time in the Lost fan-verse has changed your life.
A: Recently I made a LOST birthday party with family and friends, no matter they were fans or not. It meant a lot to me so they had to deal with it, LOL. Also, I wake up at the middle of the night before I go to work to see LOST episodes live with my American friends. As for scary I think I scare my family when I'm counting down the weeks before LOST returns. An interesting thing is the lovely friends I've found because of LOST.
Q: You’re in an elevator with someone who has never seen as much as a second of Lost. You got on in the lobby and you’re both headed to the fifteeth floor. How do you convince them to buy and watch all the DVDs before the elevator gets there?
A: There is no way to convince them to buy the DVDs but I'd block the elevator for hours and tell them the story of the 5 seasons and show pictures from my phone and videos and tell them that if they want to leave this elevator, they must watch the show. ;)
Q: Has watching Lost sparked any creative inspiration in your life, i.e. writing, media, art, etc.?
A: I've written some LOST fan fiction. I've been a writer since I was 16 but unfortunately I can't share it with people who don't understand French so if by some chance there is a nice person out there who could translate it, feel free to contact me. :)
Q: How do you plan on combatting PLDS (Post Lost Distress Syndrome) or do you think we’re all destined to end up continously re-watching our Lost: The Complete Series Ultimate Box Set for the rest of our lives?
A: During this hiatus, some days I thought of it and I started to be sad, thinking it was our LAST HIATUS EVER and then the show will be over forever. All I know is LOST is a part of me and the day LOST will end, this life will be “closed” but I’ll always have a key to open it and never forget what amazing show it was.
Q: What do you think will be Lost’s legacy?
A: I think LOST will never be forgotten by people but I think the ending will really tell what its legacy will be.
