What LOST Questions Would You Like To Have Answered?

One of the things that is becoming increasingly clear to me about LOST is this: there is NO way in Dharmaville that EVERY single mystery will be revealed and every question answered. That’s got me and others thinking: what questions do I HAVE to have answered for me to be satisfied with the climax of the greatest television show in history? Well, I don't believe that there are questions that will ruin the series if left unanswered, so, I’m going to give you five questions that I'd like to see answered, then I’m going to ask you to do the same. Dude, seriously, you better comment or I’m going to have Jon send Smokey after you! The name of the game at LOSTblog is fan interaction…so let’s interact already! We should at least have 20 comments by the end of the day…I’m just sayin’.

I should say that the question, “What is the island?” is not on my list, even though Charlie asks this EXACT question at the beginning of the series. Here is my reasoning: I have seen talk on the LOST Twitterverse on whether LOST should become  a “new” Star Trek: The Next Generation with follow up LOST series (I even think Doc Jensen is going to dress up with me and go to Lostie Coventions, OK, not really). I personally AM a fan of this idea. I think it would be fun, and to know the exact nature of the island may not make this possible. So, if there are more LOST productions coming, I doubt this question will be answered. So, here are my five.

1. What is the Smoke Monster?


2. Who are Jacob and MIB?


3. Will John Locke stay dead?


4. What happened to Claire?


5. Who is Penny’s mother?

I know, you probably thinking of a question that I left out. I’m thinking of about five at the moment. But that why I am asking for…say it with me…FAN PARTICIPATION! I want to see the list that all of you awesome LOST fans can come with together. You know…Live together, die alone! OK, give us your MUST questions!
