My Name is Scott and I am Addicted to LOST

meandrachel My name is Scott Welch and I am addicted to LOST. I am also married, have three rocking kids and am the Pastor of North Fork Baptist Church in Virgilina, VA. I first connected with Jon through the #LOST #WFTB tweet ups (I have been there from the beginning). I love the faith/philosophical angles of the show and hope to bring that dimension to the blog.

I believe without a doubt that not only is LOST a special show, but LOST fans are special fans. I have met so many cool people on twitter and facebook just because I am a LOST fan. I also believe that one reason LOST is so popular because it deals on so many levels with real issues that real people face everyday. LOST is full of life lessons and therefore is more than just an entertaining television show. I will follow suit (like Catherine) and answer a few of our interview questions that we ask our guests.

Q: Team Jack or Team Locke?

A: Team Jack

Q: Favorite character?

A: My favorite character has always been Sayid. I love a guy who can break a man’s neck with his legs while he is gagged with his hands tied.

Q: Least favorite character?

A: Michael. Dude, I so hate Michael.

Q: Favorite episode and/or season?

A: This is a tough one. I’d have to say “The Constant” and then maybe “Dead is Dead.” “The Constant had me in tears and had numerous WOW moments while “Dead is Dead” has Smokey opening up a can on Ben in the form of dead Alex…I mean come on!

Q: You’re in an elevator with someone whose never seen Lost. How do you convince them to watch it?

A: Why wouldn’t you watch LOST? It’s only the best TV show EVER. Period.

You can follow me on Twitter @scott_welch but like Catherine, I tweet about lots of stuff other than LOST, so be warned! Live together, die alone!
