Lindelof recently spoke with MTV Splash Page about what comics projects he would like to do next. Whether this is a hint that he’s got something in the works or whether he’s just shooting the breeze is a little hard to say. My guess is it’s the latter but he may be able to arrange to do what he likes. Much like Hurley’s comments about the Empire Strikes Back, Lindelof has a surprisingly poigniant line about Batman.
“I think it’s everybody’s dream to write a ‘Batman’ story. He remains the coolest comic character in my reckoning. As a kid, my favorite character was Green Lantern. My extrapolation of his superpower was that his super power was imagination. I am scrawny and weak but if I had that ring I could come up with some clever things to do with it.”
